The Texas Artists Museum preserves the works of Texas Artists and functions as a working museum to be used by a variety of art groups. The Texas Artists Museum is dedicated to highlighting the talent of artists throughout the Golden Triangle area. The museum has its permanent collection, solo and group exhibitions of Texas artists, continuous fine and liberal workshops for children and adults, cultural and holiday events, entertainment and also serves as a meeting place for local art groups. The Museum spotlights the performing arts in its monthly Second Sunday program, featuring performances by area vocal, dance, musical, and drama groups.
