The Shelby County Museum is located in the center of Shelby County in the Weaver-Oates home built circa 1900. At the museum you will learn what has forever shaped the landscape of Texas and Shelby County as you view photographs, letters, furniture, quilts and textiles, Civil War, WWI and WWII memorabilia along with a complete Genealogy Research Library and staff ready to assist.
