The Chambers House Museum represents a time in Beaumont’s history when both timber and oil industries were prosperous and driving major growth to the area. The Chamber house stands in as an example of what life would have looked like for an upper-middle class family during the early 20th century. The museum was built in 1907 by a local lumberman and was sold to the Chamber family in 1914. The house was remolded in 1924, and never changed or modernized again. Come view nearly 90 years of family possesions that help tell the story of a daily life in a time long past.
